Grapeseed oil is made by extracting the skin and seeds of grapes that were previously pressed to make wine. This oil is then used for many beauty benefits, whether for the skin or hair. This oil is rich in omega fatty acids and vitamin E, both of which moisturize the hair, add shine and boost elasticity in your strands. It also has a plethora of antioxidants that protect your hair from damage from free radicals, pollution, and even the dangerous UV rays of the sun.

What is jojoba oil and what are its hair benefits?

Jojoba oil is extracted from the seeds of the jojoba shrub, which is commonly found in Mexico and other regions of South America. It’s rich in nutrients like vitamins B, C, and E, all of which make the foundation for strong, bouncy, elastic hair. This oil is quite popular in the hair and beauty community because of its unique chemical make-up that is super similar to that of the natural sebum our scalp produces. Because of this, it makes for a wonderful moisturizer on the scalp and hair.
